Since the scope of participation, what is the role of local management in general education institutions, and cultural heritage in particular? The school has lost the monopoly of education, and now social changes prompted greater flexibility and adaptability. They are therefore increasingly scenarios and agents related to teaching. Along with this reality, we believe, however, that the local has been marginalized by more global interests. The main objective of this article is to reflect on the need for greater communication between different social and educational agents, emphasizing especially the closer to the citizen institution, the city hall, to achieve, through the study of local cultural heritage, the design of an effective socio-constructive paradigm for community interaction.
