Relación entre valores cooperativos y la RSC. Caso Corporación Mondragon
Querejeta-Agirre, Izaskun
las personas trabajadoras sobre ella; The contribution of Basque cooperatives to their community from several viewpoints has been a clear fact for decades. Social responsibility is present in its DNA, establishing
itself from its origins and, over the years, this responsibility has been adapted to the needs
and demands of society. Currently, the commitment is not only limited to the environment,
but also extends to environmental issues, people and communities with limited resources, the
global pandemic or the Basque language, among others. Internationalization and the change of
mentality in organizations has led to this responsibility being extended to adopt the form and
name of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
Through this descriptive study and under a mixed methodology, it is analysed the relationship
between cooperative principles and values and CSR to find out their conceptual differences,
whether responsibility is integrated within each Mondragon company, what has been its evolution, features and carried out today and what perception the workers have about it.

Las Junior Cooperativas en la Nueva Ley de Cooperativas de Euskadi
Arregi Uzuriaga, Aitziber; Alzola, Izaskun

Platform Coops Now!: A Team Entrepreneurship Capacity Building Program to create Platform Coops
Pillado-Arbide, Liher
Traditional labour relationships have been disrupted due to the digital platforms based businesses. This article aims on the one hand to share the consequences the sharing economy has generated for workers, and how MONDRAGON’s principles as one of the best examples of worker owned business group in the world, can be applied within the new digital era. On the other hand, this paper provides a literature review on how digital platforms can operate with fairer principles based on the framework that platform coops consist of. Last but not least, Mondragon University and The New School have set up a capacity building program on team entrepreneurship and an online incubation program that aims to support the creation of platform coops, whose results after two editions and future opportunities for research are shared.
