<dc:description>In the present paper a time domain simulation of the overall electric drive, comprising the power converter, the power cables and the electrical machine is developed in order to analyse in detail the electromagnetic compatibility of the system. The simulations are validated by experimental test performed over an industrial converter-motor system, and a very good agreement is obtained between the simulation results and the experimental measurements.</dc:description>
