En este trabajo analizamos las opiniones y prácticas en el terreno del amor, el sexoy el matrimonio de un grupo de chicas y chicos de origen marroquí que se definencomo musulmanes en la sociedad vasca. Utilizamos una metodología cualitativa,basada enel análisis de contenido de entrevistas y grupos de discusión. Los resul-tados muestran esas prácticas y opiniones, así como las prescripciones y restric-ciones que experimentan estos chicos y chicas en su entorno, y que son más exi-gentes con estas últimas. Asimismo, muestran cómo perciben esas limitaciones, ytambién sus estrategias para afrontarlas en el cruceentre valores de distinta pro-cedencia, mientras viven continuidades y rupturas, entre tradición y cambio.
In this paper, we analyze the opinions and practices in the fields of love, sex, andmarriage of a group of girls and boys of Moroccan origin who define themselvesas Muslims in Basque society. We used a qualitative methodology based on con-tent analysis of interviews and focus groups. The results highlight both their prac-tices and views, as well as the social prescriptions and restrictions they experiencein their environment, which are more demanding for young women. They also re-veal how these young people perceive such limitations and the strategies they em-ploy to navigate them at the intersection of different value systems, as they expe-rience both continuities and ruptures between tradition and change.
