dc.description.abstractInfrared radiation thermometer is used to measure the temperature of tool during dry orthogonal cutting of titanium alloys. The accuracy of measured temperature depends on several parameters such as the experimental set-up, physical acquisition data system and physical characteristic of the tool. These parameters are identified, their uncertainty estimated and the way they influence the final temperature discussed.es
