dc.description.abstractOpen-cathode Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) fuel cells are a promising solution for small-scale (less than 10kW) portable applications [1]. These compact and cost-effective devices feature a structurally simple design where axial fans simultaneously supply oxygen and regulate stack temperature through forced convection [2]. However, direct exposure of the cathode to ambient conditions creates significant challenges, as fluctuations in air temperature and humidity directly impact system performance and efficiency [3-4].en
